British Girl Travels the World. Falls in Love with Pakistan.

Girl on the Road

I have seen the chaos of New York City, the calm of Northern lights. I have seen the colours of Canada and monotony of China. I have seen the holy Mecca of Arabia and the forests of Africa.

But I haven't seen anything like Pakistan.

I grew up in London. My father is a Pakistani, my mother an English woman. While I learnt the English culture, my heart was always with Islam. Therefore, when I finally decided to travel in Pakistan, I got emotional. Even before entering Pakistan, I knew I would fall in love with it and won't be able to leave. This was exactly what happened.

Every single person I met along the way, offered me love and warmth. Pakistan is are the most peace-loving and affectionate people in the world. They laugh with open heart. They help and support without any selfish motives. They care and protect you.

Most people called me sister or daughter.

Some cared about my marriage prospects.

Some worried about my safety.

At every point, I felt like I am staying with my family. Soon, I will be finally going back to London. But I will come back. I have made friends here. I can't wait to come back and never having to leave again. It's beautiful.

If there ever was an idea of Riyasat e Medina, it is only going to be possible in Pakistan. Because only Pakistanis have the goodness of Islamic values that can make it possible.
